Arise and Shine

 Isaiah 60:2  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Before any man can rise and shine in the light he must be covered with the glory of God. The earth han been condemned and both the earth and its people are covered with darkness.

If your mission is to rise and to shine in this realm, you will need to come out from among the people of the world and enter into the glory of God that is available in Christ Jesus.

When Adam sin against God he was judged and condemned. The Bible recorded that he was chased out of the garden into the world that is full of darkness and unfortunately for man, sin had robbed him of God's glory; if not, when he was chased into the world of darkness he will still be shining but he couldn't because he had been left alone and the glory of God had detached from him but fortunately for man, the Messiah had come; He had sacrificed His life to set man free from the bondage of darkness and to cover him with God's glory that is embedded in the gift of underserved grace.

The Bible says, "and the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." John 1:5

It is possible for man to rise and to shine in the world that is full of darkness when the glory of God is upon him.

Nothing on earth will make you shine. We may have many public figures, and the people of the world may referred to some as the wealthiest and the richest among the sons of man but many of them are living by the power of darkness and they has no foundation in God, but those who are shining in the light were covered by the glory of God and their only foundation is Christ Jesus.

If you want to rise and shine in the light you must give your life to Christ Jesus and forsake your sins.

PRAY THIS WEEK 

Lord Jesus, I give up my life to you, I want to rise and shine for the kingdom sake please cover me with your glory. Amen
