Do Not Be Conformed To The World

 Micah 6:16  For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.

"If anyone love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." 

If what controls your life is your desires, then you are not yet born again and the love of God is not in you.

If you have accepted Christ Jesus into your life, your lifestyle will bear testimony before the unbelievers.

No one serves God and have feelings for the world or the things of the world.

Many claimed to ministers of God but their testimonies is centered on the world possessions. Many claimed to be Christians but all their objectives is based on how to get rich, some are users of God, the reason why they present in the house of God is to satisfy their desires, many pay tithe because they want something back, the reason why many won't leave the place of prayer is because of their needs not because they love God or care about the kingdom of God.

We claimed that we are serving God but we kept giving audience to the devil because we love the things of the world.

If you want to be my disciple, Jesus said, "you must deny yourself and take up your cross and follow me." 

Many Christians are still living by their desires. And your desires won't let you please God.

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world." 1 John 2:16

If you want God to please with you, you must back the world and the things of the world and focus on the cross.

God said, "this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased." God can say the same thing concerning you if you can turn to Him completely.

PRAY THIS WEEK 

Heavenly Father, I am ready to forsake the world, please grant me grace to do so in Jesus mighty name. Amen
