Never Joke With The Counsel Of God

 Zechariah 1:6  But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

Taking the words of God for granted is like walking in the valley of the shadows of death without any protection at all.

It is recorded in the scripture that the word of God is alive; His words will never fail, because He is a living God.

The scripture describes how powerful and how dangerous the words of God could be to those who despised His counsel, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12

The psalmist said, "your words is a lamp unto my feet." 

Anyone that is living outside the will of God shall perish without notice, walking against the counsel of God will leads to destruction. Those who take pleasure in twisting the words of God in order to favor their desires will surely regret in the end, a comma in the words of God won't go without functioning; never think that you can take bribe and use the money to pay tithe in the house of God and expect God to accept your offering. "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” Isaiah 40:8 trying to play smart before the LORD that knows all things is foolishness. Nothing will change what God has said; not your good deeds, not your money, not your wisdom, not the spirit being, nothing in the heavens or in earth will change what God has said, that is why you need to know what God has said and walk in it diligently.

The devil knew this truth, and he will come to trick you so that you can acts against the counsel of God, he came to our Lord Jesus Christ and tried to push Him against the will of the Father but he failed.

Always do what the LORD has said and not what pleases you. "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void."
