Obedience Is Better Than Sacrifice

 1 Samuel 3:14  And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

Rebelling against God or disobeying Him is just as bad as worshipping idols or asking the devil for advice.

God doesn't want sacrifices or offering, all He wants from you is to obey.

Anytime you disobeyed God you are sending the devil and invitation because you cannot stand on the fence, you will either obey your creator or make friends with the devil.

Man was fashioned to obey God, and not to offer sacrifices to Him.

Disobedience is a deadly sin. God instructed Adam not to eat fruit from a certain tree in the garden but he disobeyed God. The sin he committed is the sin of disobedience; if God won't let Adam eat that kind of fruit why did He make it grow in the garden, if God knows that the fruit is dangerous for man, He won't plant it in the garden in the first place, but the issue is beyond the fruit or the tree, it as a lot to do with the level of regards that man has for the counsel of God; sleeping with other man's wife or husband will not affect God, but what did the LORD says about it. Stealing what belongs to others, even to the church will never affect God, but God said, you should not steal. Anytime you make attempt to disobey God's instructions you have committed a deadly sin and there is nothing you can do about it than to face the consequences. God is kind and merciful, He will forgive you but you must know that our God isn't a human being. He doesn't tell lies or change His mind. "If you kill by the sword you die by the sword," it is better for you to do the will of God than to offer sacrifices.
