When You Disobeyed

Isaiah 53:11  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Man was designed to obey God; when Adam disobeyed, he was debased and his disobedience is the source of problems that man is facing today.

The Bible recorded that the Messiah shall see of the travail of His soul; which means He will suffer a lot, and His suffering will have nothing to do with Him but He suffered for the sins of others.

Jesus was punished, rejected, humiliated because the first man had disobeyed God.

Jesus had paid the price once and for all and those who have the life of Christ in them will not be condemned. But anyone who is called by God's name, who belongs to the family of God must not disobey God's commands. It is an abomination for a genuine born again Christian to disobeyed God. There is no sacrifice that can be made for someone who knew the truth and refused to live by it.

Man was fashioned to obey God but sin had made him an enemy of God but God in His love had decided to rescue man from death; because the consequences of disobeying God is death and the suffering that Jesus went through for us is the true definition of death. So, anyone that refused to obey God by accepting Christ Jesus as his Lord and savior will die, and those who had decided to live for the pleasure of life and by his desires after the death and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ will face the consequences of dishonoring God.

Genesis chapter 2 verses 16 and 17 can be summarized in a simple phrase; "if you disobeyed God, you will die."

Sinners are walking in the valley of the shadows of death, and the symptoms of death are; sickness, bitterness, sorrow, pains, poverty, and many more.

Jesus has died for your sins, go and sin no more.

PRAY THIS WEEK

Heavenly Father I want to obey you, please give me grace and power to do your will for the rest of my life. Amen
