For The Sake Of Christ

 1 Corinthians 4:10  We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

The message of Christ is the message of the kingdom, and this very message is not friendly with the system of the world. But this message of the kingdom is power. " For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power." 1 Corinthians 4:20

Jesus said,  “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.  If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." John 15:18&19

If you truly love Christ, you will have enemies, and the people of the world will surely hate you.

It is an aberration for a genuine born again Christian to live by his desires, anyone who has accepted Christ Jesus as his Lord and savior must not desire the mundane things of this world.

The people of the world loves themselves. They love money, position, wealth, riches, and power. Their desires will make them fight, do engage in money rituals, it will make them bend the law, they prefer shortcut, their desires will make them kill, and do all kinds of evil deeds.

The people and the system of the world will love them for that. But those who belongs to Christ will be hated for telling the truth; people will mistreat them, they won't have friends, they may not even have a place to live, they will work hard before they eat, when people abuse them, they wish them well, when they suffer, they will be patient, when someone curses them, they answer with kind words.

The hope of a genuine born again Christian is not in the mundane things of this world, that is why the people of this world will thought of them as nothing more than the trash and garbage of this world.

If you truly love Christ, you will only keep friends among the brethren.

You will need to walk through the earth like a stranger and remain faithful to God just for the sake of Christ.

The people of the world will hate you, because you don't belongs to them but they will love you if you can deny Christ, but what will be your gain, if you gain the whole world and loses your soul?

PRAY THIS WEEK 

Lord Jesus, I give my life and my love to you. Please don't let me be ashamed. Give me grace to reign with you in the end. Amen
