Holy Spirit, My Helper

 John 8:16  And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

The Bible says, "it is the Spirit that gives life..." The flesh is too weak to carry-out divine activities. The flesh will always find it easier to do evil or to destroy, but to do good things or to participate in the things that matter, man must be help by the Spirit of God. 

Jesus knew that for Him to survive and to fulfill purpose as the son of man He must attach to the Father and remain with Him. He said, "if I did judge, I would judge fairly, because I would not be doing it alone. The Father who sent me is here with me." John 8:16

Man was bound to make mistakes; he wasn't like that when God created him, but sin had deprived him of God's grace. So for any man to make any good impact in life, such must live by the help of the Holy Spirit.

The reason why you kept failing despite the fact that you played by the rules and applied a lot of strategies is because you depends on human wisdom and you are seeking help where there is no help. "Therefore shall the protection of Pharaoh turn to your shame, and the shelter in the shadow of Egypt to your humiliation." Isaiah 30:3

The only way to succeed in this life is to depends on God for help, that is why the scripture recommends consistent Prayer.

Before you engage in the activities of the day, you must pray for the Holy Ghost to help you. As a student, pray for the help of the Holy Ghost before lecture, and pray for help before test or exam.

As a business man/woman pray to the Holy Ghost, ask Him to help you in your business.

As a minister of the gospel, pray before you prepare the message and pray before you deliver it.

As the head of the family, ask Holy Spirit to help you lead your family.

As the head of the state or government, pray for the help of the Holy Ghost.

As a judge, don't judge by your understanding alone, pray that Holy Ghost should help you make the right decision.

You must trust God and rely on Him alone for help, if you want to succeed in life.

PRAY THIS WEEK 

Holy Ghost I need your help, I acknowledge my insufficiency please come and help me. Amen
