That I May Know Him

 Philippians 3:10  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

The message of the gospel talked about the goodness of God and a new covenant between man and God was established by the blood of that innocent Lamb that was shed on the Mount of Calvary.

It is so unfortunate that many Christians do not recognize their savior; many are truly born again but only few Christians knew Christ and many don't even know the saving power of God.

When you receive a new life in Christ, you must know the one who died for your sins.

You accepted Christ just because someone who knew Christ preached to you about Him, and you got saved because of your faith in Christ and you confess with your mouth and believed in your heart that Jesus is the son of God. It is of necessity of you to know Christ for yourself and the power that raised Him from death. Those who truly know Christ and understands how the saving power of God works will never live by their desires.

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

Those who truly know Christ and the saving power of God will never toy with sin.

Apostle Paul said, "but Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize." Philippians 3:12

Jesus Christ is the one way ticket to participate in the race of the kingdom of heaven; God will not accept you because of anything but Christ, and for you to be raised to life like Christ Jesus, you must know the power that raised Christ from death, and Christ is the only one who can help you, no wonder He said,  “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

Lord Jesus, I want to know you, make me understand the truth about the kingdom of heaven. Amen
