That I May Live
Philippians 3:10-11 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
"If our hope in Christ is good only for this life, we are worse off than anyone else."
What makes a religious man different from a kingdom man is their aims and objectives; a Kingdom man is running a race, and his focus is centered on how to reign with Christ in the life to come; the life eternal. But a religious man focus on how to solve his immediate problems, he strictly obeyed the religion doctrine and he perfectly follows religious rituals in order to satisfy his desires.
Apostle Paul said, "I didn't run without a goal. And I don't box by beating my fists in the air." 1 Corinthians 9:26
"Athletes work hard to win a crown that cannot last, but we do it for a crown that will last forever." 1 Corinthians 9:25
If only in this life we follow Christ, then we are of men most to be pity; everything in this life will come to an end, the earth will disappear and wear out like clothes and all men will taste death, but for those who have the life of Christ in them shall live; they will be resurrected by the power that raised Christ to life.
The reason why a kingdom man will detached himself from the people and the activities of the world is to keep within the standard the standard of the kingdom of God so that he may live and reign with Christ Jesus.
If you lied because everyone in your office lies, or you cheat in marriage, because most of your friends cheat their spouses, or you bend the law because of the situations around you, then you may not live because all the activities of a fallen man is regarded to as deadly activities but he who lives a holy life will surely live because holiness is the nature of God, and everything outside God will never last.
PRAY THIS WEEK
That I may live and reign with Christ, heavenly Father please breath a breath of life in me and teach me how to live right in Jesus mighty name. Amen
