The Strength Of The Lord
2 Corinthians 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
"Those who have will be given more."
In the book of Joel chapter 3 verse 10, instruction was given to those who have faith in the son of God on how to claim the strength of the Lord, "let the weak say, I am strong."
That message is not for those who do not have faith in God.
The message is for those who had made God their only source of hope, those who do not trust in the power of chariots or horses, those who had not lifted up their souls unto vanity.
The message is for those who had clean hands and pure hearts. Not for those who trust in the power of wealth.
The message is for those who fights their battles on their knees not for those who fights with bows and arrows.
The strength of the Lord is for those who had set up an alter of prayer, they pray consistently, and they asks God for help every morning before they engage in the activities of the day.
The strength of the Lord is not for those who believe in their strategies and plans, is not for those who jokes with prayer or neglects spiritual activities.
The strength of the Lord is for those who wait upon the LORD, and not for those who gather the mundane things of this world by any means.
"but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31
