True Definition Of Peace
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Peace is a state of tranquility.
When man was created, God put him in a garden called Eden. Eden is an entity in the heavens that finds it expression on earth.
According to the scripture the garden of Eden was so peaceful that man has nothing to worry about; every creature in that garden were living at peace. Both the wild and the domestic animals were living together in harmony but when man sin against God, he was chased out of the environment that is conducive for his nature into the world of trouble and pains
Unfortunately, man had been searching for peace on the world that has no peace.
God designed man to live in a peaceful environment but sin had deprived him of that. That is why he kept searching for peace with the aim that he may find it in the mundane things of this world; money cannot give peace, gold will not give peace, you will never find peace in cars, nothing on this sinful world can give peace, man will only find peace in Christ Jesus.
The true definition of peace is to have Christ in your life.
Peace can be found in the presence of God and Jesus is the only one who can take you back to the presence of God.
If you are still ruling by your desires, you will never know peace.
Those who truly have Christ, will tell you what peace really means.
Apostle Paul said, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21
Stop searching for peace in the world, come to Jesus and you will find rest.
PRAY THIS WEEK
Lord Jesus, you are the prince of peace. Please come and give me your peace. Amen
