Deeply Rooted In Christ

Mark 4:17  And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

It is easy to get born again, but it takes God's power and wisdom to remain in the family of God.

People gladly hear the message of the kingdom because it required nothing from them. You don't have to work for it, it doesn't required your money, gold, or silver. You don't need to pray, fast, or serve before you can get born again; Jesus had did it all, He was hated and rejected, His life was filled with sorrow and terrible suffering. He was despised and people called Him a nobody. He suffered and endured great pain for us. He was wounded and crushed because of our sins; by taking our punishment, He made us completely well. He was painfully abused, but He did not complain. He was silent like a lamb being led to the butcher, as quiet as a sheep having His wool cut off. He was condemned to death without a fair trial, so that you and I may be saved. He has done it all, that is why you don't have to pay for your salvation you just believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16

Many people gladly accept God's offer that is made available in Christ Jesus but many won't accept Christ, and many who accepted Christ refused to take root in Him.

Christian life is totally different from worldly life, and the worldly system will always find problems with the system of the kingdom because darkness and light as nothing in common. So for those who had decided to live in the light, they must avoid darkness by any means necessary and they must take root in Christ in order to master the system of the kingdom which is different from the old system they had adapted with, so that when life gets hard and the system of the kingdom restrict them and isolate them from the doings of the worldly people, they will be able to stand firm, and they will not give up.

So, now that you have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior, you must keep following Him. Plant your roots in Christ and let Him be the foundation for your life. Be strong in your faith and pray consistently.

PRAY THIS WEEK

Heavenly Father I pray for grace to find more roots in Christ Jesus. Amen
