I Want To Please God

 

Matthew 23:26  Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Many people really want to please God but they couldn't because they were blind. Their focus is on the things they see; they live by sight and not by faith. That is why they always find it difficult to please God.
If you really want to please God, you must focus and pay attention to the things that really matters to God. The most important commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind; the Pharisees really wants to please God and they nailed Christ to the cross with the aim of doing God a favor, they did this because they were blind. They want to please God by giving God a tenth of what they have, but they neglect what is more important to God; such as justice, mercy, and faithfulness.
Many Christians really wants to please God, but their minds is far from God; they really want to please God but they live by sight and not by faith. They want to please God but they focus on the physical matters; such as dressing, positions, and religious doctrine. Instead of holiness, Justice, and faithfulness.
If you want to please the LORD, you must work on your inner man. The Bible says, "for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7
God cannot be deceived, if your heart is pure, your physical appearance will become a testimony of light for other people to see, and the glory of God will overshadow you.

Heavenly Father, I want to please you. Please help me to please you, guide my thoughts and direct my steps in Jesus mighty name. Amen
