My Hope In Christ

 1 Corinthians 15:19  If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

What hope do you have in Christ Jesus? If your hope in Christ Jesus is good only for this life, then you are worse than sinners who party all days, the sinners who engaged in money rituals, the sinners who lives in sin, the sinners who lives by the power of black magic, the sinners who gather wealth by force, and the sinners who has decided to perish with the devil.

The Bible recorded in the book of Colossians chapter 1 verse 27 that Christ in you is the hope of glory; the reason why you should accept Christ as your Lord and savior is to share in the glory of God and not to gather mundane things of this world; many people accepted Christ because they want to show off, many did because they wanted to satisfy their desires, many even claimed to be a minister of God because of money. Jesus did not come to give life, but He came to give eternal life; His kingdom is not of this world, your hope in Christ must not based on bread and tea, it shouldn't based on what you will eat or wear; eternal life is more than food, clothing, mansion, cars, and all the mundane things of life, it is all about sharing in God's glory. You need to make the kingdom of God the priority and totally shift your attention from the things that the gentiles seeks. 

Your position on this earth will not necessarily count; you may be rich or poor, famous or not famous, because of Adam we will all die but we will be raised to life because of Christ; your hope in Christ should based on the life eternal because every other things will be useless when you depart from this entity but your relationship with Christ will last forever.

"When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?”

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”
