Peace Maker

 Luke 9:55  But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

The most peaceful religion in the world is Christianity. In fact the church of God was meant to make peace between man and God and to find peace in the society at large.

Jesus Christ is the head of the church and the Bible referred to Him as the prince of peace. The reason why Jesus came to the world is to make people between man and God, that is why He sacrificed everything in order to fulfill purpose.

Jesus had done it all, but the work is still in progress; the Bible says, "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come". Mark 13:10

Jesus instructed the disciples to go and make the people of all nations His disciples; peace will never find expression until the people of all nations become like Christ. In fact, as a born again Christian your primary assignment is to find peace with all men.

It is unfortunate that the church is no longer trade in the things that matters to God; the purpose of the church of God is to make people in the world but peace is absent in the church. “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot." Matthew 5:13

It is not recorded in the scripture that our Lord Jesus Christ pray against His enemies, and He asked us to pray for our enemies the way He prayed for those who accused Him unjustly and nailed Him on the cross.

Jesus did not come to destroy man, but to save them.

Your duty as a Christian is to save the lost and not to destroy sinners with your prayers. You are meant to make peace and not to destroy like the devil.

Try to be like your Father in heaven who make it rain on both the good and the bad alike.

If we want peace to reign, we must allow the prince of peace to rule our lives.
